Would be cool to have smileys added to the quick reply box. If this was implemented the only time I would open the reply box is to format text. Just an idea.

Think I'll piggy back on Weave for syncing data since it would be native to Firefox. (once it hits final release - still in beta)

I'm starting to work on some new fixes and features to be ready for FF3.6

Put the various saved data into a cloud, somehow, or save it into a special bookmark so something like xMarks can be used to sync it.

I use FV on 3 different computers (one Mac, 2 PCs) and it's VERY annoying having the Favorites list and friends list be different.

If the preferences & lists were saved into an HTML format (perhaps as <-- comments inside?) and placed somewhere inside of the Bookmarks system of FF, a utility like xMarks would then be able to sync it across multiple machines (I'm already using xMarks for my bookmarks toolbar so it came to mind). Alternatively, associate the data with a user's FV.net profile and store it "in the cloud" somehow, but I do like the idea of having it local somehow.

Oh, and please fix the quickreply box that breaks after you vote in a poll.

The menu items for this feature has changed

Tools > Addons > Extensions > FireVortex > Options

FireVortex (firefox menu item) > Options

then select the
Extras
tab and choose a
default forums

then check the box for
Rewrite links to default forums

I'm also working on a 'log-me-all-forums' feature (since everything is cookie based)

Soo... not being a Greasemonkey expert, I'm not sure if this is possible, but I can't imagine it wouldn't be... but basically, if you're visiting http://forums.motivemag.com/ and someone posts a link to http://forums.vwvortex.com, http://forums.thecarlounge.net, etc. it would be nice if it translated the URL to a http://forums.motivemag.com/ link so you don't have to log in to each site to reply... basically keeping you logged into the same forum... or at least give you the option to switch it.

Please add any requests here for the next update to FireVortex.

What I have on my wishlist:
Save/Bookmark threads -> either internal firefox or to firevortex.net servers: auto save topics from the watchlist so they can be referenced when a thread becomes 'archived'
Preferences -> a reset to default feature
Kill-A-Thread -> by title filter: maybe a simple keyword (full/partial word) search and kill-a-thread toogle
Preferences -> new xul quick comments window
Preferences -> new xul for emoticons (picker)
